A-C

Chancellor Agard (2003) is one of two freshmen in Our Lady of Good Counsel High School's Chamber Chorus. He also plays the tenor sax in the school's Symphonic, Marching and Pep Bands. Chancellor was accepted to Interlochen School for the Arts summer Operetta and Vocal Arts programs. He has been offered roles in Bethesda Music Festival's productions of 'Oliver' and 'Suor Angelica'. He will appear in the American Center for Puccini Studies' production of 'La fanciulla del West'.

Katya Ankudinov (2003) is a student at James Hubert Blake High School. She sings in her school’s Chamber Choir, in her church choir as well as in the Montgomery County Honors Chorus.

Jack Bartlett (2003) is a student at McLean High School.

Kelly Bates (2000) is majoring in Music Education at Bucknell University.

Michael Berlin (1998) is a junior at Ithaca College, double majoring in Psychology and Creative Writing.

Karen Ann Biddle (2000) is attending Montgomery Blair High School and sings in the Honors Chamber Choir. She will be singing in Senior All State.

David Brand (1998) is a student at Colby College.

Ellen Brand (2000) graduated from Bethesda Chevy Chase High School in 2006 and is now attending St John's College in Santa Fe, NM.

Jonathan Brand graduated from Middlebury College and works in Washington, DC at XM Satellite Radio.

David Bronstein (1999) is attending Sherwood High School and participates in its Chamber Chorus.

Patrick Carlson (1996-founding member) plays euphonium in Yorktown High School’s top band. He also sings in and is student director of the school’s madrigal group. Last year he was an intern with the U. S. Army Band.

Demetri Chrissos (2002) is singing first bass in the Schola Cantorum of Saint Matthews Cathedral in Washington D.C.

Lyz Crane (1996-founding member) graduated from Barnard College in May 2005 and is working for Partners for Livable Communities, a DC nonprofit organization.

D-F

Patrick Deem (2003) is a student at Walt Whitman High School and participates in the Symphonic band and Jazz Ensemble. He is also a member of the Whitman Varsity crew team.

Alexander Dennis (1996-founding member) is a freshman at McDaniel College working on a bio/environmental science dual major.

Rebecca Eskin (1999) is a sophomore at Walt Whitman High School and sings in the Treble Chorale. She participated in the Montgomery County Youth Chorus last fall and the Maryland All State Mixed Chorus this winter.

Anna Finn (2000) is currently a junior at Guilford College in North Carolina and will spend six months studying in Ghana.

Khadija Franklin (1996-founding member) is a sophomore at Xavier University/Temple University. Khadija was washed out of college in New Orleans by Katrina and transferred to Temple. She is president of the pre-veterinary club.

G-K

Sophia Gayek (2000) is a freshman at the College of William and Mary.

Naomi Graber (1999) was accepted into the Maryland All State Mixed Chorus and appeared as Annina in a production of La Traviata. She says that as a section leader of the Chamber Choir at Montgomery Blair High School, she uses what she learned at CCW.

Sonya Guerra (2001) is in her freshman year at James Madison as a choral education major.

Allison Hampton Harwood (1997) is now married and currently in nursing school at Marymount University.

Carrie Henderson (2002)  is a sophomore at Pomona College majoring in music. She is a member of both the Pomona College Choir and Glee Club and leads one of the a cappella groups on campus. Carrie misses singing with CCW and will continue to follow and support them for a long time to come.

Micah Hendler (2000) is in 11th grade at Sidwell Friends School. He is singing in Chorus, Chamber Chorus and in the Sidwell male a capella group called “Consensual Sound”. He also started a Jewish A Capella group at his synagogue.

Reuben Hendler (2003) is a student at Sidwell Friends School.

Charlotte Himmelfarb (2003) is in 11th grade at Richard Montgomery High School. She participates in her school’s Madrigals.

Jennifer E. Hood (1999) graduated from Oakland Mills High School in 2007. Jennifer will be attending Hood College in Frederick, MD on a Presidential Scholarship (majoring in foreign language and music).  She was in the Top 5% of her class and received the English Award, the Citizenship Award, and the Maryland Student Honorable Mention Merit Award.

Christopher Kallas (2000) is currently in 11th grade at Walt Whitman High School. He participates in the Men's Choir and Chamber Choir and is also involved in technical production for all school productions.

Anna Kassinger (1999) is attending Pomona College.

Katie Kaplun (1998) is a student at Georgetown University and sings with the Chapel Choir.

Daphne Kiplinger (1996-founding member) is a junior at Cornell University studying interior design and singing with Cornell’s original all-female a capella group, “Nothing But Treble.” She also plays club ice hockey.

Rachel King (2002) lives in Oak Hill, VA and is a sophomore at Paul VI Catholic High School, currently singing with the school chorus and enjoying it immensely. "CCW helped my voice tremendously and I will always remember being in your choir."

Joanna Krupnick (1996-founding member) is a sophomore at Ithaca College, majoring in musical theater.

Adam Kruszewski (2001) is a student at Quince Orchard High School. He is still taking part in numerous choral activities with the school's chamber chorus, Barbershop Quartets, and also participates in a musical/drama program.

L-N

Joshua Larson (1996-founding member) a sophomore at Williams College, sings tenor in the a cappella group “Good Question” and is also the group’s business manager. 

Eryn LeCroy (2001) is 14 years old and has been singing with Passaggio Chorale for 2 years. When she first moved to New Jersey, she sang with the Princeton Girlchoir for 1 year.  Eryn is active in community theater, performing in Turandot, Oliver and Seussical the Musical! She still misses CCW so much!

Flora Lindsay-Herrera (1997) is currently interning at the Wilson Quarterly and also works at Theater J in Washington, D.C. She graduated from Harvard University in June 2005.

Katy Maguire (1997) graduated from Cincinnati Conservatory of Music in 2004, and is currently directing high school and middle school chorus in Cincinnati. Katy is also directing one of the ensembles at the Cincinnati Children's Choirs, conducting some of the same songs she sang as a chorister in CCW. - Goin' Up A Yonder, Children Go Where I Send Thee, Pie Jesu, and many many more.

Joe Mannarino (2000) is in10th grade and is now a tenor. He hopes to keep this range and develop it over his life. Joe is active in musical and regular theater, appearing in Into the Woods, Jesus Christ Superstar, A Christmas Carol and Kiss Me Kate.

Garrett Matthews (2002) is a student at Seneca Valley High School. He played the role of Willard in his school’s production of Footloose.

Cate McCrory (1997) has moved to Laguna Niguel, California, and attends a magnet program for the performing arts at the local high school. She participates in several choirs, including Madrigal Singers and Vocal Jazz Ensemble. She misses the level of skill in CCW as well as Joan Gregoryk’s wonderful leadership.

Megan McQuighan (1996-founding member) is a sophomore at James Madison University studying broadcast journalism and is involved in student government.

Amy Miller (2003) is a 10th grade student at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School and a recent graduate of the Childrens' Chorus of Washington.  A student of of Loran Stephenson, she has also studied with Igor Zubkovsky.  She is a member of the NSO Youth Fellowship program.


Caitlin Miller (1996-founding member) graduated from Colby College in 2006 with a major in in music. Cait completed her dual masters program in musicology and library science at Catholic University in May of 2008, and is now employed as a research librarian in the Music Division of the Library of Congress.

JJ Mitchell is in 8th grade at St. James School in Falls Church, studies piano and organ and plans to join a chorus again in high school. He misses everyone who went to Italy!

Leslie Moser (1997) a junior at Thomas Jefferson High School, sings in two choirs, and this winter she participated in the school musical, The Bells Are Ringing.

Christina Sasha Ndombele (2000) spent 7 years with CCW.  She attended The college of St Catherine in MN she is now a junior majoring in Music Business and still pursuing her love of Vocals and Piano.

Monica Nettle (2002) is in 10th grade at Richard Montgomery High School. She is taking part in many clubs and sings in her Church’s choir.

O-R

Megan Perez (2000) is a student at Georgetown Visitation. She performed this year the role of Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at St. Anselms and also played in Beauty and the Beast.

Camie Pulley (1996-founding member) a senior at Walt Whitman High School, plays bassoon in Symphonic Band and Orchestra and sings in Concert Choir, Chamber Singers and Beautyshop Quartet. In pursuing a career in music, she hopes the musical world has room for a bassoonist and soprano.

Blair Roberts (1996-founding member) graduated from University of Maryland with a BA in Psychology and is working for a daycare organization that provides an enrichment class for kindergarteners (Farmland Elementary School). 

Jesse Roberts (1996-founding member) is a sophomore at University of Maryland.

Stephanie Robinson (2000) is a student at Yorktown High School and takes dance classes at Washington School of Ballet.

Joshua Rosenberg (2000) has successfully completed his freshman year at Eastman School of Music, where he is a student in the studio of Professor Jan Opalach.  He was delighted to perform with the Eastman Repertory Singers and the Eastman-Rochester Chorus, and will participate in Italian immersion and opera study at Festa Lirica Italiana this summer in Ischia, Italy.  He will continue in his sophomore year as a combined Music Education and Applied Voice (performance) major. 

Michael Rosenberg (2004) continues to perform with the North Bethesda Middle School Festival Chorus and NB a Cappella and played the part of Yao in the Spring Musical performance of Mulan, Jr.  Michael was delighted to win the “Outstanding Solo Vocal Performance 2009” award for NBMS at the Music in the Parks Competition in Williamsburg, VA, and is looking forward to starting high school at Walter Johnson in the fall. 

Michelle Rudd (1997) is studying painting at Northern Virginia Community College.

S-V

Alixandra Sebrechts (1999) is a freshman at Catholic University, a premed student majoring in physics/bio.

Stania Shaw (1999) is studying at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts to become an accomplished opera singer and hope to attend the Juilliard School of Music this fall.

Ania Soltan (1999 or 2000) is a freshman at George Washington University where she is majoring in English and minoring in music. She is also very involved in student theater/musical theater, participates in womens choir, and is a new member of the all girls a capella group "The Sirens". In high school she was involved in all of the choirs at some point, and was also a member of the Cathedral Choral Society. She misses CCW all the time, and loves to see the performances with all the newbies!

Anna Sosdian (2000), a junior at Yorktown High School, is student conductor of the Yorktown Madrigals and also a team member on Varsity crew.

Rick Stanley (2000) is attending Georgetown Day School.

Owen Stevenson (1996-founding member) sang with the chorus for three years. He graduated from Indiana University School of Music in ‘08 with a Double major in Voice and Theater.  Owen toured throughout the US (and Greece) with the IU Singing Hoosiers for 4-1/2 years, and in May ’09, will direct and perform with a four man a cappella group on Celebrity Cruise lines.  He heads up his own 7 piece band, True Story - check out Straight No Chaser and True Story on You tube!

Jen Straus (1996-founding member) graduated from Barnard College in May 2006, is living in Brooklyn, NY and working as webpage editor of Movie Maker Magazine in Manhattan.

Kenny Toler (1997) is a junior at Catholic University majoring in vocal performance. He is active in the chorus, operas, chamber choir, and a capella. He plans to pursue a career in performance.

Jennie Trow (2001) is majoring in vocal performance at Simon’s Rock College of Bard.

Clayton Underwood (2002) is attending Sheridan School and is involved in percussion and choral training.

W-Z

Benedict Wagstaff (2001) is a student at British School of Washington.

Emma Waugh (2000) is a student at the University of Miami and is involved in its music program.

Elizabeth Westin (1996-founding member) is working in the admissions office at the Lab School of Washington and hoping to pursue a career in graphic design.

Becky Wood (1996-founding member) is a senior at Whittier College (CA), looking for work in urban planning.

Rachel Wind (1996-founding member) currently attends St. Olaf College and participates in Manitou Singers, a group comprised of freshman women. She recently auditioned successfully for a chamber choir, one of several highly regarded singing groups at the college.

Laura Zeifang (2001) is attending Georgetown Visitation School. She performed this year in Guys and Dolls at Gonzaga College High School, where she has also been in five other shows. She is the editor-in-chief of the Wicket, her school’s newsletter.
